Psychological Assessment
Psychological evaluations and assessments are designed to help answer questions about a person's mental health. Some of these questions include whether an individual is struggling with substance abuse, relationship problems, a personality disorder, mood instability, or some other challenge. Evaluations usually involve asking questions related to the individual's social, educational, medical, vocational, and family history. Background information may be gathered from other sources, such as family members, employers, teachers, physicians, or other professionals. Psychological testing may include evaluations of the person's intelligence (IQ), adaptive functioning, acheivement, social functioning, general ability, personality, ability to reason, and ability to remember.
We offer comprehensive evaluation services specifically geared to your needs. We can test for any (or all) of the following, depending on the referral question: Achievement, intelligence (IQ), personality, skills development, cognitive processing, depression, anxiety, addiction. We also offer pre-employment testing, and work closely with employers to develop a testing protocol to best meet individual needs.
